Pediatric dentist Dr. Paul Elkin

Paul Elkin, D.D.S.

Board Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Paul Elkin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1994.

Dr. Elkin immediately followed up with Pediatric Specialty training at Schneider Children’s Hospital where he served as a Resident and then Chief Resident from 1994-1996.

Dr. Elkin is a Diplomate of the AMERICAN BOARD OF PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY. He has been teaching Pediatric Dentistry and treating infants, children, adolescents and patients with special healthcare needs for over 20 years.

Dr. Paul (as he is affectionately known to his patients) is an active member of the following groups:

General dentist Dr. Terrence Vandiver

Terrence Vandiver, DMD

Dr. Terrence Vandiver is a native of Evans, GA and a graduate of Fort Valley State University and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry.

Dr. Vandiver began with Augusta Smiles Youth Dentistry in 2005 and has enjoyed serving the Augusta community.

A 2015 graduate of Erskine Theological Seminary, Dr. Vandiver is a local pastor, serving Thankful Missionary Baptist Church in Blythe, GA.

Dr. Vandiver is married to his lovely wife Maria and they are parents to three outstanding children.

He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

General dentist Dr. Andrea Davis Wood

Andrea Wood, DMD

Dr. Andrea Davis Wood hails from Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Frederick Douglass High School, she enrolled in Spelman College and received a B.S. degree in Biology. Further, she earned a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from Mercer University School of Pharmacy. After working for almost a decade as a Registered Pharmacist, she was accepted into The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where she earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree in 1991.

Dr. Wood is a member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. She has fully enjoyed providing quality dental care to the residents of Georgia for the last twenty-five years. Specifically, she credits Youth Dentistry of Macon for affording her the opportunity to care for children and young adults of middle Georgia.

General dentist Dr. Scott Farrell

Scott Farrell, DDS

Dr. Scott Farrell, DDS, recently moved to Macon, GA in February of 2016. He is originally from Detroit, MI and comes here most recently by way of Little Rock, AR.

Dr. Farrell graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1996. Upon graduation he completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Olin E. Teague VA Hospital in Texas. He then furthered his training by completing a 1 year Misch International Implant Institute Surgical Residency program in 2008. He is also a certified Invisalign (clear braces) provider. Dr. Farrell is licensed to practice dentistry both here in Georgia and in Arkansas. He returns to Arkansas one weekend a month to provide dental care to our US Military troops. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Farrell has committed most of his dentistry to serving underserved communities. The past six years almost exclusively with children.

Pediatric dentist Dr. Shermnae Jones

Shermnae Jones, DDS

Dr. Shermnae D. Jones, D.D.S. was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She graduated with honors from the Academy of Richmond County, and then went on to Spelman College to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. While there she was active with the Health Careers Program and was involved with the Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement program. She was named a Boehringer Ingelheim scholar, was placed on the National Deans List, and won the Georgia Dwelle, M.D. award, which was given to the senior most dedicated to a career in healthcare.

She attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. During her time there, she has served as class representative on the College of Dentistry's Student Government Association, as well as class representative in the College of Dentistry's chapters of the American Dental Education Association and American Association of Women Dentists. She also served as Treasurer of the Student National Dental Association. At graduation, she received the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award.

Dr. Jones is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the National Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Georgia Dental Association. She enjoys many activities, to include spending time with her daughter, reading, working out, and traveling.

General dentist Dr. Fatemeh Paziraei

Fatemeh Paziraei, DMD

Dr. Fatemeh Paziraei earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University in 2014.

Dr. Paziraei completed a General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC in 2015. At Richland, Dr. Paziraei treated patients of all ages and backgrounds in the dental clinic setting as well as the hospital setting.

Dr. Paziraei has been providing dental care to pediatric patients since 2015. Dr. Paziraei is member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
